When you use ManRaksha, we collect the minimum information needed to book a session and personalise your care: your name, email, phone (only when you initiate a masked call), booking history, and any messages you type into the AI companion. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Your data is used solely to (1) match you with an appropriate counselor, (2) process payments via Razorpay / Stripe, (3) route masked voice calls via Exotel, (4) send you transactional emails via Resend (booking confirmations, receipts, session reminders), and (5) improve service quality via aggregate, anonymised analytics.

When you initiate a voice call inside the app, your phone number is never shared with the counselor. Both parties see a virtual ManRaksha number as the caller ID. Exotel handles the bridging; we do not record call audio unless you explicitly opt-in.

Conversations with the AI companion (powered by Anthropic Claude) are used only to generate the response you see. We do not store the raw chat transcript on our servers by default, and we do not use your conversations to train external AI models.

Booking records are retained for 7 years for tax and audit compliance under Indian law. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by writing to hello@updates.manraksha.com. Anonymised aggregate analytics may be retained indefinitely.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact our Data Protection Officer at hello@updates.manraksha.com to exercise any of these rights.
